There are two of us here, and that’s rather the charm.

We’re Seb and Simon, the two owners behind Murrumbeena Wine Bar, a neighbourhood wine bar built on good wine, great cheese and the simple pleasure of taking your time.

Two owners, two aprons, four hands and no army. We pour every glass, prepare each plate, clear every table and make sure every guest feels right at home.

We believe a great local wine bar is about more than what’s in your glass. It’s about discovering a new favourite wine, sharing a few plates, catching up with friends and letting good conversation carry on long after the first pour.

Being a small, hands on team means we do things at our own pace. Sometimes the room fills up, the evening gets busy and things take a little longer. If that happens, it simply means everyone is getting their turn and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

We’d rather take care than hurry you through, giving every glass, every plate and every table the attention they deserve.
