Sometimes a table is not enough. Sometimes you need the whole bar.

The New Murrumbeena Wine Bar is available for exclusive hire for birthdays, celebrations, engagements, work gatherings and other occasions requiring good wine, beautiful cheese and the complete absence of strangers listening to your speeches.

​

MWB is a small, owner-run venue, which means your event is looked after by the people who actually own the glasses, chose the wine and will be quietly panicking if somebody puts red wine on the furniture.

​

The space is warm, intimate and a little luxurious without feeling stiff or overproduced.

There are no generic function packages, no fluorescent banquet rooms and no mysterious function coordinator called Madison.

​

There is simply Seb, Simon and a very well-stocked bar.

MINIMUM SPENDS

Tuesday–Thursday   $2,000

Friday or Saturday   $3,000

Sunday, 12 noon–5pm   $1,000

Sunday, 6pm–midnight   $2,000

​

Friday and Saturday evenings are our busiest nights, so exclusive hire needs to make sense for both your celebration and the tiny business being temporarily handed over to it.

​

The minimum spend is not a venue-hire fee. It is spent across your food and drinks, allowing you and your guests to enjoy the bar properly while we take care of the rest.

It is your party. It just happens to be held in our very attractive wine bar.
